Sydney Stamp Expo 2007 was a great success.

The Show was busy at all times. The number of visitors was 50% more than expected.

All dealers were pleased with the Show.

The Competitive exhibits were very popular. They showed a large range of scarce and interesting stamps and covers from Australia and from other countries all round the world. The material was of a very high quality, with 7 large gold and 18 gold medals being awarded

The Show souvenirs were very popular. By the morning of the second day all products had been sold out.

Australia Post sold out its stock of miniature sheets on the first day. More stock had to be air-freighted from Melbourne.

The Shannon Room was a great venue for a stamp show.

The success of Sydney Stamp Expo 2007 will give a boost to philately in Sydney, in New South Wales and in Australia.
