 
Come and explore the wonderful world of stamps at the Sydney Stamp Expo 2007 Kids Zone on Friday 15, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 June.
Free activities for children up to 16 years. Activities include a treasure hunt, badge making, games, tour of the exhibits, colouring in and more. Each child will receive a free show bag.
Award Ceremony
The Stamp Design Competition ' 07 has closed, winners will be announced on Sunday 17th June 10.30am (please be seatd by 10.15am) along with the Youth Awards Presentation at the Sydney Stamp Expo 2007 award ceremony at the Kids Zone, Mezzanine Level.
Winning entries will be displayed at the Kids Zone.

Sydney Youth Stamp Group is organizing a Stamp Design Competition in-conjunction with the Sydney Stamp Expo 2007. The theme for this competition is Water. E.g. your design could show how to conserve, recycle water or how to keep our waterways clean.
The competition is open to NSW school students, kindergarten to year 12, and only one entry per student. Closing Date 18 May 2007

Judging criteria
- The stamp design incorporates the theme of the competition, 'Water'.
- The stamp design shows imagination, composition, creativity and artistic merit.
- The stamp design must have AUSTRALIA, 50c and the year 2007 on it.
- Includes the completed Entry Form.
Prizes - There are four categories Grades K - 2, Grades 3 - 6, Grades 7- 9 and Grades10 - 12
Three prizes will be awarded to each category Gold, Silver and Bronze.
The Stamp Design Competition is sponsored by Australia Post. Prizes will include The 2006 Annual Collection of Australian Stamps and a range of other great prizes to the value of $200. Additionally, the winning stamp designs will be reproduced as Personalised Stamps TM .
Winners will be invited to a prize giving ceremony at the Sydney Stamp Expo 2007 on Sunday 17th June 2007. Winning entries will be displayed at the Sydney Stamp Expo 2007.

Students will discover how our postal system works and will explore the wonderful world of stamps.
There will be a presentation followed by hands on activities and a scavenger hunt with lots of stamps. At the end of the program students will have a guided tour of the youth stamp exhibits. Each student will receive a free show bag.
Duration: 1 hour
